Graham (Gomer, Ohio/Columbus Grove), a redshirt junior, opened the season with a third-place finish at the Ric Sayre Invitational. His time of 25:33.45 in the 8k set a Lake Erie record. He followed up that performance two weeks later at the Otterbein Invitational, where he finished sixth with a time of 26:51.2. In his final race of the month, the All-Ohio Championships, Graham finished 15th in a field featuring some of the top Division-I talent in the state (fifth amongst Division-II competitors) with a time of 25:40.6.
Peiffer (Lansing, Mich./Holt), a freshman outside hitter, helped the Storm reach a 9-6 record in the month of September. She totaled 167 kills, 136 digs and 26 blocks in those 15 games. In the Storm's five-set win over Saint Rose, Peiffer totaled 16 kills. In all but two games, she reached double-digits in kills. She had a high of 17 digs in the season opener against Gannon University. She tallied 16 digs three other times.
